Bodegas Riojanas is located in Cenicero and their vines are between 15-60 years old in stony soil, produced wonderfully wines using modern technology. All grapes are hand-picked and the wines are produced on the vineyard.
 
Vinification: Maceration and fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks
steel tanks for maximum fruit and freshness. Then sheep the wine is aged 20-36 months in American oak barrels and another 36 months in bottle.
 
Description: Ruby red with brick colored edges. A fruity and berry wine with herbal notes. Barrel character, vanilla, tobacco with soft developed tannins and long spicy termination.
 
Recommendations: Served at 15-18 degrees. This wine should be consumed within a couple of years. A lovely wine that goes with most things, grilled, aged cheeses, meat stews and cold cuts but also
wonderful as a companion wine.
