Bodegas Riojanas is located in Cenicero and their vines are between 15-60 years old in stony soil, which produces wonderful wines using modern technology. All grapes are hand-picked and the wines are produced on the vineyard.

Vinification: Maceration and fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks

steel tanks for maximum fruit and freshness. Then sheep the wine is aged 18 months in American oak barrels and another 18 months in bottle.

 

Description: Dark red with slightly lighter edges. Aroma of dark berries,

cherries and blackberries. Cask character with vanilla and roasted nuts, soft tannins with balanced acidity. Long lovely complex finish.

 

Recommendations: Served at 15 - 18 degrees. This wine should be consumed within a couple of years.

A lovely wine that goes with most dishes, grilled, aged cheeses, meat stews and cold cuts but also wonderful as a companion wine.
