Vinification: The grapes have been handpicked from carefully selected
vineyard locations. Has gently fermented in climate controlled
steel tanks where the malolactic fermentation was also done.
Aging has taken place in partly French and partly American oak barrels for 18 months.
 
Description: Dark burgundy with slightly ripe edges. An elegant wine with nice balance between fruit and barrel. Black currants, dark cherry, lovely barrel aromas in the form of vanilla, tobacco and coffee. Full-bodied with medium tannins and wonderful long fruity and spicy finish.
 
Recommendations: Served at about 18 degrees. To be enjoyed now or stored further for 5 years. A lovely food wine to be enjoyed with red
meat, grilled or a hearty stew with game, wonderful aged cheeses.
