Bodegas Riojanas is located in Cenicero and their vines are between 15-60 years old in stony soil, which them produces wonderful wines using modern technology. All grapes are hand-picked and the wines are produced on the vineyard.

Vinification: After maceration, the wines are aged for 18 months American oak barrels and then matured another 6 months before they are ready.
 
Description: Deep ruby red with an aroma of red berries and some herbiness. Medium-bodied with barrel character and taste of cherries, red currants and vanilla. A balanced acid, medium austere tannins with a long fruity and spicy finish.

Recommendations: Served at 16-18 degrees. This wine can be enjoyed now though also stored for another 4-6 years. A lovely wine that suits it
mostly, grilled, cheeses, red meat and wonderful as a companion wine.
